This weekend was our second time in Paris, and it was great! It is a quick 2 hour train ride from London to Paris, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to revisit. Paris is a huge city with a ton to see and do, but since this was our second trip, we had already hit most of the hot spots, and were able to spend a little more time relaxing and enjoying the city this time. We spent a good amount of time ogling the Eiffel Tower. There is just something about it that is so mesmerizing!
We arrived late Friday and went for a walk. Our hotel was near the Arc de Triomphe, so that was our first stop!

We started Saturday with a boat ride on the Seine River. Then a picnic lunch in front of the Eiffel Tower, followed by a stroll along the river with a few stops for wine, a peek at the Louvre, and that was our day!
We went back to the Eiffel Tower at night to see it all lit up, which is an incredibly beautiful sight. They put on a little light show every so often too!
The next day we went to the Sacre Coeur, which is one of my favorite churches. It’s perched high on a hill and looks very majestic! Plus, once you’ve made the climb up, it’s a nice view back over Paris. We also made a stop at the Notre Dame cathedral, which was one church we didn’t have a chance to go into last time we were in Paris. We went for another stroll along the river, and then it was time to head home!
It was just a quick trip but brought back some wonderful memories, and we made some new ones as well. Can’t wait to head back to France this weekend! Au revoir!
